FRANKFURT

Frankfurt, nicknamed 'Mainhattan' and 'Chicago am Main'

because of its skyscrapers, is one of the main economic

and cultural centers of both Germany and Europe.

The headquarters of many major banks and newspaper

publishers are based here.
