PART 17 OF 17 (last one)
IN AMSTERDAM, HOLLAND

Taking a bus to visit the famous Red Light District

Centraal Station in the far background where we got off from the bus.

Taking a long walk on wide sidewalk.

One of coffee shops where marijuana and many others are sold legally.

RED LIGHT DISTRICT
The Amsterdam Red Light District covers a
large area of the oldest part of the city.
The buildings are tall, thin and
crowd together, overlooking the tree lined canals.
The Amsterdam
Red Light District is a beautiful area and the later it gets, the busier it
gets.
And the darker it gets, the more obvious the glow of the fluorescent
red
lights above the many windows in the area becomes.
Dating back to the 14th Century when sailors arrived in need of some female
company,
the district is full of sex shops, brothels, gay bars, cinemas, hotels
and different kinds of museums.
This infamous part of the city is a major
tourist attraction. Each year, millions
of visitors come to see this vibrant and
exciting part of Amsterdam.
The Red Light District is located just south (10 minutes walking) of Centraal
Station,
the main train station. It consists of theaters, shops, museums,
restaurants, bars,
coffee shops and of course the famous windows (about 250)
with sexy
girls, dressed in
eye-popping underwear. And window-shopping, performed by
both sexes is
a favorite activity in the Red Light District.
Although there is a lot of adult entertainment, it is much more then just a
tourist attraction.
This district of 300-year-old gabled buildings and expensive
real estate houses
doctors, lawyers and plenty of families. It is a tolerant
community where freedom is highly valued.
NOTE: Taking real pictures of involved women is an insult to their profession.
Out of respect, we use some of the pictures below from the internet.

This picture on the sidewalk tells us where to get adult pleasure.

One of typical places where potential customers can get pleasure (closed now or busy).

SEX MUSEUM
Welcome to the world's first and oldest sex museum, the
"Venustempel" in Amsterdam.
A leading museum on the theme of sensual
love with an extensive collection of erotic pictures,
paintings,
objects, recordings, photographs and even attractions. All of the
exhibits have been gathered
together personally by the owners and can
be viewed in their 17th century property on the Damrak.

Some of us did attend, witness and take many explicit pictures that will not be put on this website.
