DUBROVNIK, CROATIA
(formerly part of Yugoslavia)

The city walls of Dubrovnik date back to the Middle Ages,
and were completed as you see them today in the 14th Century.
Visitors to the city are welcomed with a mix of old and new,
with modern restaurants and shops nestled in ancient buildings.
The Old City is closed off to modern vehicular traffic, so walking
along the highly polished limestone streets makes for a relaxing day.
